The Office of Special Programs coordinates academic student support services for the school district. These services include:
- Academic Intervention Services - services designed to help students who are struggling to achieve the learning standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics K-12, and social studies and science in grades 4-12.
- Instructional Support - teachers trained in curriculum based assessments and research-based instructional strategies work with students on an individual basis in areas such as study strategies, organization, writing strategies, reading comprehension and literacy skills. These students are referred through classroom intervention teams in each of the school buildings.
