Board of Education
Meeting Dates

• The Board of Education shall meet at 7:00 p.m.on the second and fourth Thursday of every month, with the first meeting of the month being a Business Meeting and the second meeting of the month being a Board Workshop.
• Special meetings are scheduled as needed.
• The Annual Budget Hearing and Meet the Candidates Night is held on the first Tuesday in May at 7:00 p.m. in the Fetter/Brown Auditorium.
• The Annual Budget Vote and Board Elections is held on the third Tuesday in May from Noon - 8 p.m.  Residents of School Election District #1 (see below) vote at H. A. Hanlon Elementary School in Odessa and Residents of School Election District #2 (see below) vote at B. C. Cate Elementary School in Montour Falls.

School Election Districts Described

School Election District #1 shall include all other persons within the Odessa-Montour Central School District not included in School Election District #2.

School Election District #2 shall include:

(a) Those persons residing on Route 14 in the Town of Veteran,

(b) Those persons residing in the Town of Dix and

(c) Those persons residing in the two election voting districts of the Town of Montour designated Voting District #1 and Voting District #2 by the Schuyler County Board of Election excluding, however, those persons residing in the Village of Odessa.
