COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVES VISITING
Several college representatives have contacted our office and will be visiting this fall to meet students interested in learning more about their school. Seniors and Juniors who have questions about the colleges should stop in the office to get a pre-signed pass.

COLLEGE APPLICATIONS
It's time for students who will be graduating in 2009 to start thinking about the college application process. You should spend the summer and early fall looking at colleges and narrowing your choices. It's a good idea to visit the schools you are considering. Most schools hold open houses in the fall. Check the Guidance Office bulletin boards for dates and times.
College applications should be sent out by December 1. Don't procrastinate!
Your Guidance Counselor can help with the application process. Please stop in with any questions you have.
FINANCIAL AID
Once your have completed the application process, it is time to start thinking about applying for financial aid. Everyone should complete a FAFSA Form even if you don't think you will qualify for financial aid. The earlier you complete your FAFSA application, the better chance you have of getting some aid. Colleges base their financial aid on the FAFSA form too. You can't complete the FAFSA before January but you should be sure it is completed by the end of March.
Be sure to check the Scholarship Page for news about available scholarships. Students should check the Scholarship Drawer in the Guidance Office for applications. Remember you won't get the scholarship if you don't apply for it!
