Welcome to Hanlon!  I am very excited and looking forward to a successful school year.  I come to Odessa-Montour with 14 years of experience in education, all of which were spent in the Newfield Central School District.  I taught Elementary Physical Education for 13 of those years and I was the Dean of Students /Physical Education Teacher during this past school year.  

        Our job, as a school, is to provide the most positive, caring and successful learning environment for all students.  Students, your job is to do your best at all times and show good character so that your teachers can teach and you can learn.  Not only have you had great success in your academic growth, but you will continue to develop physically, socially and emotionally.  Our team of caring and supportive professionals will engage you in a strong foundation of instruction based on the New York State Learning Standards which includes mathematics, English language arts, science and social studies with specialized instruction in art, music, library and physical education.  You will have a staff that will share with you their infectious love of learning and will provide you a challenging, exciting and fun school year.

        Parents, we encourage you to take an active interest in your child’s education and overall school life.   Please let your child know that you care about his/her education by being supportive and participating in school activities.  These are crucial years for your children; therefore we all need to work cooperatively to make this year productive and positive.  If you have questions and/or concerns, we want to hear from you.  We look forward to working with you and your most treasured resource……your child.
