COLLEGE INFORMATION DAY
Juniors and Seniors can go to College Information Day at TC3 on October 14, 2008. Students who return permission slips by Friday, October 3, will be visiting TC3 for the annual College Information Day. Students will leave (transportation provided) immediately after homeroom and return at the end of the school day. The day will include tours of the TC3 campus and the opportunity to visit with representatives from over 100 colleges.
Permission slips were mailed home in September, but you get another one in the Guidance Office.
College Information Day will also be held at the Arnot Mall on Thursday, October 16. Parents and students are encouraged to attend the evening session from 5-8 p.m.
STUDENTS CAN TAKE PERMIT TEST AT SCHOOL
Is your son or daughter getting ready to take their written test for their driver’s permit? New York State Department of Motor Vehicles has a new program that allows students to take the written test here at school. Students can take the test at school and then go to the DMV to get their actual permit. There is no fee to take the test here; however, you will need to pay for the permit when you go to the DMV. Students should stop in the Guidance Office to get a driver information booklet and sign up to take their permit test.
