After an incredible season that included a Section IV championship and a New York State Division 2 runner-up finish, Lucas capped off his career with 170 total wins—one of the best in program history.
His dedication, resilience, and competitive spirit truly represent what it means to be a Grizzly.

Grizzly Pride: Odessa Scholar-Athletes Shine!
We are proud to celebrate our Odessa-Montour student-athletes who have been recognized by the NYSPHSAA as Winter 2026 Scholar-Athletes!
This winter, 24 Odessa-Montour student-athletes earned Scholar-Athlete recognition by achieving a 90 or higher academic average—a remarkable accomplishment that reflects both dedication in the classroom and commitment on the field.
In addition, multiple Odessa teams were recognized for having at least 75% of their roster maintain a 90 or higher average, including:

🏀 Girls Basketball
🎳 Girls Bowling
Across New York State, over 40,000 student-athletes earned this honor—but today, we’re celebrating OUR Grizzlies.

A huge shoutout to Lucas Hoffman, who captured the Section IV Championship title in the 118 lb weight class!
With this victory, Hoffman has officially punched his ticket to the NY State Championships in Albany on February 27–28.
Joining him at States is teammate Jared Watson, who earned an impressive 3rd-place finish in the 165 lb weight class.
