Last Friday afternoon the Agriculture and Sustainability Club hosted “Ag Day” to raise awareness about their club and local businesses and families that rely on agriculture. Students had the opportunity to watch or talk to the vendors, to learn more about what they do and how they use agriculture for their business or for recreation. Thank you to the vendors that attended and helped make this possible!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It was a busy week at Hanlon Elementary! Starting off on Monday with the 4th grade "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" our very own 'Grizz' led the parade through the halls as students lifted their balloons high. On Tuesday, Hanlon celebrated Special Persons Day. Students invited a special person or persons to come have breakfast with them and show their appreciation. What a great week at Hanlon Elementary!
Students from our Student Council had the opportunity to attend the NYS CLSA leadership conference located in Niagara Falls. While on this trip they worked with over 600 fellow leaders from all around New York State. They learned new skills on how to become better students, communicators, and advocates for our student body and community.
