Ethan Nolan shot 85 and finished 4th in the IAC small school Championship at Soaring Eagles. The OM team finished 6th - two spots higher than in 2024. Congratulations to our Grizzlies!

On May 20th Hanlon Elementary students participated in career day. Students were introduced to a variety of careers such as: nursing, social work, astronomy, veterinary medicine, banking, DEC officer, mayor/politics, physical therapy, teaching, small business owner, and police. Students learned about each profession and even got to try some hands-on activities. Thank you to all our presenters!

On Friday May 9th, BC Cate first graders hosted a Mother's Day tea! Students welcomed their family members and served them muffins, lemonade, and tea. Students also gifted their family member with a flower and gifts they had prepared for them.
Congratulations, Leah Antes, who was named as an honorable mention for this year's All-State Girls Basketball Team Class C. Go Grizzlies!

Proud to announce our Odessa-Montour winter varsity sports teams that received the NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Team award for the 24-25 season - Girls & Boys Basketball, Girls & Boys Bowling, Boys Swimming. This is award is given to teams with the top 75% of athletes having a cumulative GPA of 90 or above. Congratulations!

Schuyler Storm Wrestling - Hoffman and Guild - Qualify for State Tournament
Two Odessa-Montour/Watkins Glen wrestlers qualified for the NYS Wrestling Tournament on Sunday at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton - Dana Guild (285 lbs) and Lucas Hoffman (124 lbs) placed second and third respectively for Section 4 Division 2, qualifying for the State Tournament.
Dana Guild secured his qualifying status by winning 8-5 over Trey Parker of Susquehanna Valley in the quarterfinals, then defeating Mark McCanne of Tioga by disqualification in the semifinals. Guild ended his tournament by medical forfeit in the finals.
Lucas Hoffman started his tournament in strong fashion with a 18-0 technical fall over Kade Mustin of Oxford-Greene in the quarter finals followed by a 18-1 technical fall loss to defending state champion Maverick Beckwith of Norwich in the semifinals. The road to third place started with a 16-2 victory over 2024 NYS Bronze medalist Logan Bellis of Tioga, followed by a tight 1-0 victory over Jason Canedo of Deposit Hancock for third place.
Other OM/WG wrestlers competing in the tournament include Jared Watson at 152 pounds (0-2), Nick D'Alleva at 170 pounds (0-2), and Patrick Croft at 215 pounds (0-2).
The NYS Boys Wrestling Championships will be held on February 28th and March 1st at the MVP arena in Albany, NY.
